I'm sure it's great Whitehand! Thanks to all the artists, Whitehand for coding (and to Aegir for voulnteering to code the landscape), and everyone else involved to make this test set possible.

I never thought I would ever see a single AU loco in TT, and now I can :D. So happy... :)).

I'll be sure to post up some screenshots here when I get a chance!

The AusSet is thing that I'm most waiting for because of those steemers!! They look awsome, especially at Aus grass tiles (screen was in ausset topic). It is great to see relese. Here is first screenshot and first bugs/tips report.

Three things that I saw:
1. Copper Ore wagon has wrong price, but I now that it isn't finished
2. When you buy NSW Hunter you get only half of loco instead of two parts (or maybye it is how it should be)
3. You must work more at xrel and yrel because locos are out of tracks (see pic).

Yes, thanks for your help with those rel problems.
I've encountered a few problems with the ausset(this includes f*** it up big time) So don't expect a new version till atleast tommorow.

The next version, v0.07, contains even more fixes. The rels are basically fine(except the the tender for the C38). Dig in. Download at the top of this topic. Enjoy

Insert the grf file in your newgrf/ folder and add a line in your newgrf[w].cfg

Note: You need the Windows grf file if you have the Windows tycoon version, and you need the DOS grf file if you have the DOS tycoon version.

(and you need the patch of course)

some links are in my signature.

how do i get them to work in the game

You go into the game, build a railroad, go to your deopt and press 'build vehicle' and pick the vehicle you want ;)
Seriously, though. I need more information then that to fix your problem.

one last thing...hopefully

do i need to download a save game so i can use the aus set or do i start a new game or when can i start using them in the game like a certain year ?

I have resolved all my other issues that i have posted

thank you all for your help

1. You must download .grf file with set from this thread (ausset.grf - for dos version of ttd, or aussetw.grf - for windows version)
2. Then you must put this .grf file to newgrf folder in your ttd game folder.
3. Now open newgrfw.cfg file from your ttd game folder and at the end add line: newgrf/aussetw.grf (note that name of dwnloaded file can be different - name in cfg file must be the same as downloaded file name).
4. Save newgrfw.cfg file!
5. Run TTD.
6. Start new game.
7. Click and hold options button, and open GRF Status window. Find ausset file and make sure it has green flag, if not click on flag to change it. Click Apply button.
8. Place depot, tracks, stations and buy trains (in depot)

9. Last thing that probably is answer to your problem is that first locomotive in ausset is available from 1943 (you can find this in first post), so you have to jump to 1943. You can do this with cheat (cht: year 1943), or just change startyear in ttdpatch.cfg. I hope it will solve your problems.

4. Save newgrfw.cfg file!
And if you don't have any newgrfw.cfg, make one! F.ex. you could take out the ttdpatch.cfg, place it in another directory, go in that file with notepad, delete everything that is there, save it, rename it to newgrfw.cfg, and put it back in..
Alternatevely (sp?) you could PM me or any of the other guys here, and we'll post you a blank config-file.
Did you understand anything at all of what I'm trying to say? :P
