Are there any complimentary NewGRFs for xUSSR Railway set? Like road vehicles, airplanes, buildings replacement set and such? Unfortunately, I am not very handy with the search, so I was unable to find anything myself.

Hi all,
I think I remember once seeing New Yorks World Trade Center (Twin Towers) once in a bit brownish color.
But I can't find them anywhere. Has anyone got some idea's?

Along the same lines of special cars (asked before but cannot find it anymore):

Any graphics for torpedo cars (German: Torpedopfannenwagen) for transport of molten liquid metal, typically iron?

The correct English term apparently is "Ladle transfer car"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladle_transfer_car

Would be super-cool for Steeltown economies

If Andythenorth hasn't already released them in Iron Horse, then the next release should have them. He's showed off pics of them somewhat recently over on Discord.

If Andy hasn't done them in Iron Horse, then I'm pretty sure nobody else has done them at all.

They are indeed part of Iron Horse:

https://grf.farm/iron-horse/2.31.0/html/trains.html

All the way down, just above the section on "narrow gauge wagons" - not only four different styles of torpedo wagons, but also two "slag ladle wagon"

https://grf.farm/iron-horse/2.31.0/html ... ony_gen_2U

Also very nice in this context the narrow gauge "ingot carriers", as many steelworks until the 1960 or so had large narrow-gauge networks for internal transport in addition to the standard gauge connection "to the big wide world":

https://grf.farm/iron-horse/2.31.0/html ... ony_gen_1U

Would be cool to have these separately, as the overall set is very nicely drawn and expertly collected, but I don't like the overall "fantasy" names, prefer to play with "real-life" sets.

Timberwolf's set's addon has Torpedo Wagons, too, if I remember correctly. It's a real-life set.

You could also use the rename function to rename Iron Horse trains based on what they're inspired by, but that's probably not what you're after.

Found it - thank you very much. However, it is only one in contrast to the 3-4 in the Iron Horse set and also looks a bit strange when on curves.

No, in particular not as the changed names go back to the original ones whenever you change something in the NewGRF settings (yes, I know this is not advised - but it still works surprisingly well with me in the cases where I need it, only had one total crash with loss of some games in like 5-10 years).

Not such big track-laying machines but at least a small yellow "Kleinwagen" (Klv) with trailer is in the Polish PKP Set 2.0, but only available from 1978:

They are called "Trolley WM-15A" and "Trailer PWM-15"

For "real life pictures" see here: https://www.bahnbilder.de/bild/polen~ba ... cyjna.html

Picture from the set itself here: download/file.php?id=216995

Thanks a lot!
This is already very suitable for what I had in mind.
And a great trainset too by the way, lots of pretty stuff :D
And I hope they will add a torpedowagon...

Hi,
I'm looking for a new object with fake rails, locomotives and wagons. Is there such thing?
Thank you

I'm not sure what exactly you want? Rails and railway vehicles that are actually just eyecandy objects?
