Good AI for building road networks

Post by ccomley »

Any recommendations for an AI which just builds road networks. Don't care if it runs traffic on them or what...

CityConnecter is a "road building" only AI, it connects all mayor cities to neighboors and eventually it goes bankrupt. WMdot actually try to build some transportation services to avoid the bankruptcy, and can make highways (buggy)

WMdot doesn't start in random mode. I prefer CityConnecter because I like the way it logs its "thinking", making you feel as a real company working behind... :) After going bankrupt if no other company buys it, all roads go in "public domain" (no owner)

Ah - pub-dom roads means others can move them around without the big red "arooga" window popping up! :-)

Cheers
