I haven't played Open TTD for a long time and back then played with the in-game AIs. I am a total newby with downloadable AIs, so probably I am doing something wrong. Rondje-om-de-kerk works fine at first, but when I stop playing and start the game later again it crashes. When I try to save the game or at autosave, the game is hanging.

That's odd, there's no stack trace to go with the error. I can't seem to reproduce it here. What version of OpenTTD are you using - 1.0.5, a nightly build, something else?

I am using Open TTD 1.0.4 on OS X Snow Leopard. The only NewGRF installed is Generic Tram Set v0.4. Maybe I should reinstall the game, the problem seems to be structural. Hanging after restart at the first autosave.

Updated to the 1.0 API. Even tested the save and load buttons :)

After a few years Rondje has trouble. It continuously spawns messages like
