If you were the referee...

Post a scene from an association football ('soccer' for short) match where the referee has/had to make an intriguing or controversial decision. Your example must include a video or a well explained image or diagram. Other users can make a decision, justify it, argue their case, compare it with the actual decision (if the example actually happened), bicker, whatever.
What would you do?

Well, you didn't even start us off!!
OK, classic one:
A pretty damn ugly slide tackle, but it definitely was for the ball. The tackler hit the ball first but then also took down the opposing player really hard. What would you do?

Play on; the tackler has obviously made a play for the ball, and won the challenge.

Yes. The game had been called off before scoring, so yes.
