The Nations Game: Tokyo Drift - General Discussion Thread
This thread is intended for use by players of the fourth iteration of the Map Game, The Nations Game Mk.III. Unlike the International Council of Nations Thread, this will serve as a place to discuss any topic related to the game that would otherwise crowd the thread with unnecessary decision-making or similar clutter.

So, first order of business. Jake's map of Jarth includes landforms, but not large-scale nomenclature, so what should we name each continent? Try not to name them all based off of countries (but exceptions can be made like North America for instance). I'm open to suggestions, though I like the name Ataraxia.

Re: The Nations Game Mk.III - General Discussion Thread
We have plenty of players now (thanks everyone for playing) but I think the game will stagnate soon if there aren't any proper wars or conflicts any time soon. They're part of what made the previous games engaging and made people keep coming back. I think this is a good place to "premeditate" wars, other political events/conflicts, and sorting out who's doing what, i.e. all the non-character stuff.
Now, the Mediterranean Kingdom is sending missionaries all over and beheading infidels, who wants to take offence at that?

That'd be me (we're naturalist - we believe only what we have see, and we believe in something whose proof is repeatable), but then again I still don't have enough time to be fully engaged...
Hey, maybe in the future this thread can be made as something akin of ICN...

I see a possible conflict brewing over one of my ports which rests between two sections of Bretonnian soil; we could mess around with that idea if APDAF shows up again to challenge the port somehow (or if I try to muscle my way in illegitimately).

I'm not really sure what the problem would be though.
Re: The Nations Game Mk.III - General Discussion Thread
Well I could want to connect my lands together or something like that...

I guess it doesn't really have to be too complicated. Still, no one has answered me about how many soldiers I should have proportional to my population.

IMHO it is up to you. Conscription is your friend in this case, after all!Zakos wrote:I guess it doesn't really have to be too complicated. Still, no one has answered me about how many soldiers I should have proportional to my population.
