I think that the third option is best, if people can be bothered to update as well as post.
Failing that, I think that option 1 is next best, so that it is easy to find and compare stats.
Option 2 gives us the ability to view previous strength, which would be useful, but makes it hard to compare (unless we do links on page 1)
