Re: The airline game
NorthAir will provide more aircraft for the trans-Atlantic route under the condition that it gets 50% of the fares from New York and Montreal departures and arrivals.
Here is an updated map of NorthAir routes.
New routes include:
Canadian (Chicago - Toledo - Akron - Toronto - Kingston - Montreal - Boston) (2 planes).
Empire (Boston - Albany - Buffalo - Toronto) (2 planes).
Hudson (New York - Albany - Buffalo - Akron - Toledo - Chicago) (2 planes).
The Canadian is a 14-hour journey and departs its endpoints at 8 AM.
The Empire is a 6-hour journey and departs its endpoints at 8 AM and 4 PM.
The Hudson is an 11-hour journey and departs its endpoints at 9 AM.
PS D-CHGU: How did you make the dashed line on your map?

Re: The airline game
@Level Crossing: that is an interesting proposal. How many planes are you willing to provide ?
We might be adding some more, depending on your number of planes so that we have an even number of planes on that route.
And concerning the dashed line, that was created using an amazing program called "paint"

Re: The airline game
Thanks about the dashed line.
The 42 hour trip, with 6 hours of layover, makes 48 hours.
To operate the route daily, we can both provide 4 planes, operating in pairs.
NorthAir will offer 4 planes for the international route.

Re: The airline game
Ok I'll add another 2 planes of my own and we have a deal.
OT/ it's a shame that plane only carries so few pax... but sadly the higher capacity Junkers only come in the mid-30es

How about having the plane drag a glider behind it?

Re: The airline game
As with the other airline, we ask for 50% of fares to/from Montreal and New York.
We are willing to match aircraft.

So you are willing to provide 17 Aircraft for half the fares to and from Montreal and New York.Level Crossing wrote:As with the other airline, we ask for 50% of fares to/from Montreal and New York.

Re: The airline game
Wait...17 means that you are running service daily.
How about this:
We provide 16 aircraft (minus 1 spare).
You give us 1/2 the fares to/from Montreal & New York on your planes.
We give you 1/2 the fares to/from Europe on our planes.
That will make transatlantic service 3x daily.

Re: The airline game
That deal will be fine with us.
And yes there is an arrival at each Airport daily as the Planes run in Pairs and it is 8 legs.

Re: The airline game
after careful planing, Flughansa opens up two new routes towards the east, using 8 brand new Junkers F13 specially bought for the occasion :
Departin from Hamburg twice a week :
Moscow, via Warzawa (2 planes)
Departing from Munich 3 times a week :
Mumbai, via Sarajevo, Athens, Jerusalem, Kuwait, Dubai, Karachi
(6 planes operating in pairs)

Re: The airline game
Won't that be twice daily (32 planes, 16 pairs)?A321Pilot wrote:That deal will be fine with us.

Re: The airline game
I suggest that we work out a schedule.
If twice daily is impossible, how about 4 planes at the same time, once daily?

Re: The airline game
Twice daily is possible. So the Schedule should be 2 Planes taking off in each direction at each Airport.Level Crossing wrote:I suggest that we work out a schedule.
