Suggestion for next game:
Cooperative play. We all team up to make one complete network, with multiple hubs, many regional flights, etc.

Sounds fun. This game is scheduled to end in 2015 game time, so it'll be a while before the next game. Also, Cathay Pacific has replaced all of its Convair 880s with 990s.Level Crossing wrote:Suggestion for next game:

It is now 1963.
Boeing has flown the 727-100 for the first time, an airliner which critics claim was the plane that the Junkers 152 and Sud Aviation Caravelle wanted to be. The plane is so quiet that it is capable of landing at noise-restricted airports, such as New York LaGuardia and Chicago Midway.
727-100 Stats
Passengers: 149
Cruise speed: 535 mph
Range: 3100 mi

TAL replaces its 30 caravelles with 30 Boeing 707s.
Meanwhile the affiliate company KAW isn't anymore under control of TAL.

Re: The airline game
Douglas has built an airliner smaller and cheaper than the Boeing 727. They call it the DC-9. It is currently in its Series 10 incarnation.
DC-9-10 Stats
Passengers: 90
Cruise speed: 561 mph
Range: 1450 mi OT: It seems like people are getting bored of this game. I kind of am too. Big expansions will come later, I promise.

Re: The airline game
NYI has expanded yet again.
Cancelled destination: South Pole. The route had proven unpopular with tourists, and the landing rights were too expensive.
Added destinations: Kolkata (India), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Auckland (New Zealand), Christchurch (New Zealand), Lima (Peru), Caracas (Venezuela), the brand-new city of Brasilia (Brazil), Johannesburg (South Africa), Lagos (Nigeria), and Kinshasa (Dem Rep of Congo).
