The Get Me Home Game

Post by donchatryit »

Okay, I have been trawling some old threads on my break and I came up with an idea for a game.

The rules are simple:
1) Each round starts with a challenge of getting the person home, to the first place they state from the second place they state, using any mode of transport, within as short a time as possible, preferably less than 24 hours. The shortest journey time posted within 3 days wins.
2) You must assume that the person will begin travelling on the date and time of their post
3) Their money is unlimited but lowest price will be used as a tie-breaker if two journey times are within 10 mins of each other.
4) Your journey must specify all changes and modes of transport.
5) You don't have to use your real "home" as your home station.

Here is an easy one to start:

Get me home to Castle Park, Blantyre from the Lycee Jean Bart, Dunkirk, France.

Sounds pretty much identical to "find the fastest route".

Bit of a shame that it more or less died though. Had an interesting route idea for that :P

Hmm. Thanks. Look like it would be defined as dead and this one would cover the entire world. Will see what the mods think.

	BUS, PRICE 8.20EUR
Calais-Ville 0655|0706
	BUS, PRICE 2EUR
Calais-Frethun 0721|0802
	EURO*, PRICE £167.40
London St Pancras	0756|0800

^ You got the destination right and that is shorter than the other suggestion.

One day to go.
