Re: The Map Game
As far as I know, you are in UESPA.
Re: The Map Game
Soutn Britfraca immediately make use of the 2 'new' spacecraft. (OT: Nearly put 'Species' because of 'The Simpson')
Re: The Map Game
I have placed the array in my country and added it on the key.Emperor Jake wrote: @Pottsy: One pair of solar array receiving dishes coming up! Just tell us where, preferably far from major cities...
P
Also, Pottsania builds more moon bases and reveals the ultra- ultra- ultra top secret Mars base.
As well as that, We have launched the ship to Alpha Centori.
Ps: I believe I have cracked thee secret of teleportacion. All is needed is a module at each end which must be deliverd beforehand.
That's why we are flying to Alpha Centori

Which two? Those six that have been built are for Rohan, a couple more of them are for USAf. Do you want us to build some for you?A321Pilot wrote:Soutn Britfraca immediately make use of the 2 'new' spacecraft.
The 'replicator' has been futher developed, more complex object can be made now. We're planning to build one of XXXL-size to assist the Spacedock shipyards.
@USAf - What's going on with that 'forcefield' reasearch? We're interested to see if that can be applied to spaceships and space stations in protection purposes, as some kind of shields.

Re: The Map Game
We would like some receiving dishes for the DSA. We are keeping our geothermal plants operational in case the dishes have a problem.

Geoduckia, as a fellow UESPA member, Rohan will gift you with complete design blueprints for the receiver dish installation. Very simple to build and use.
It's basically a special reflective and refractive dish that conveys a highly concentrated solar beam (coming from the satellite array) into a "conventional" steam turbine installation which produces electrical power.

Fordtopia would like to join UESPA.
A321, i believe the map is 2 pages back.

Re: The Map Game
Aren't you already in UESPA?
Edit:
Rohan has abandoned the "generation" ship development, too difficult to build with regard of our current technological advancement. We have settled for a new class of ship, still bigger than the previous Explorers class.
We present to you the USS Daedalus, freshly launched and under testing. Tech data
Dimensions (L/W/H, metres): 63/12/14
Number of decks: 4
Minimal crew: 9
Power supply: m/am reactor
Max speed: Warp 1.6
Maximum pax/cargo capacity: 64 passengers + 540 tons of cargo
Armaments: 16x spatial torpedo launcher (1 launcher), 2x plasma cannon (1 forward, 1 astern)
Defensive systems: hull polarization
Other notably systems: 1 replicator, subspace communication array, surface landing gear

Re: The Map Game
To be honest, i can't remember, but it's worth looking.
Also, I know it is the 22nd century, but can we also report on Earth matters rather than several pages of non-stop space matter please!!!?

Re: The Map Game
Earth matters? Actually you've reminded me of something.
The Rohan Space Institute has started developing a satellite system for weather control. Yes, control over weather. We have reason to believe that it's possible to manipulate with weather via a carefully studied and implemented web of low-orbit satellites that would use solar beams to locate and relocate clouds and even produce rainstorms by overheating and evaporating sea and lake waters. If this project proves the theoretical viability, we will try building and testing it on a small scale over Rohan.

Re: The Map Game
You may count me out for now. I'm not so up to date in the "space age" so to speak. Keep doing what you're doing though, I'll wait for a new map

Fordtopia takes an interest in this undertaking. We are willing to supply you with any materials you require.Voyager One wrote:Earth matters? Actually you've reminded me of something.

We are also willing to be a distributor of this new technology.

Re: The Map Game
@73129: Do you approve the construction of the Trans Siberian Maglev and the Bering Strait Tunnel? It would provide a missing link in the International Maglev Network, and connect your country to the rest of the world via high speed maglev/vactrain. The planned route is outlined on the map.
@Voyager One: THAT'S how the receiving dish works? I had no idea! I thought it was microwaves...
Also, A321Pilot is referring to the second hand spaceships I sold him, UES Pioneer and Endeavour.
The USAf is also interested in the weather control technology, especially for irrigating our large swathes of desert. Building and maintaining massive networks of irrigation canals and desalinization plants is expensive. We will help you research it.
The USAf's two Explorer class starships have been named USS Fasa Manubi and USS Benjamin Sisko, in honour of the two astronauts that died long ago after a sabotage of the MASA rocket by the KLA. (see many pages back)

My mistake, I've just remembered about your design. It IS a microwave dish but it does convey the microwave heat to a steam turbine installation. The far cheapest and environment-friendly way to create electricity from heat is still the old trusty "steam engine". Only the heat doesn't come from burning anything but from the sun itself.Emperor Jake wrote:@Voyager One: THAT'S how the receiving dish works? I had no idea! I thought it was microwaves...
Other news:
We will be ready to launch the three test-satellites for weather control within 6-8 months. Some high-tech stuff is giving us trouble.
