We need a new puzzle, please...
Back in 2014 there was an active one during the Glasgow forum meet, I was able to give clues in person.

I've got bored of waiting...

Should be relatively easy for some people.

Was on Wikipedia on an unrelated investigation, and stumbled across a very similar image... I don't have one of my own to post though, so I'll hang back for 24 hours...

Nowhere near Brum. Think North.

So, I stumbled across this today, when things were slow at work, and I was looking at the history of one of the lines I was planning a train down, and the stations that were on it. That line, would be the Colne line, and that station, would be this one: Burnley Barracks.

I've always wondered what Burnley Barracks station was like, having seen signs to it on several occasions, but I've never actually used or passed through it.

Ah, thats a request stop station too. Request only stations on the rail network confuse me. Do you speak to the conductor who notifies the driver, or do trains that run on them lines have special buttons next to the doors?
Sucks if you don't find the conductor or forget, eh?

Interesting to see the annual usage of the station. A grand total of 964 people used the station in 2005/06, up to a comparatively massive 25,834 people in 2014/15.

As far as I'm aware (and the only request stops I've ever passed through are Deganwy and Wem), you have to tell the Conductor that you want to get off at those stations, if not, the train goes sailing on through (if no one is waiting for it). For getting on, I think it's a much simpler affair, of sticking your hand out, much like one would when wishing to stop a Bus.

I think that the method of measuring the number of annual usage has changed, as well as the service levels. Also, if I remember rightly from my knowledge of Burnley, a new housing development was built in the area of the station (though don't hold me to that!)

I'm going to hold off on posting my picture until after work tomorrow. I do after all wish to wait for Nordic Dragon to confirm my answer, as per the rules.
