The notice about platforms gave it away, with the extra one for the Burnley line curve which was clearly added later when that line re-opened!

Looks like a clue might help...

The platform seen in the photo was decommissioned in the 1980s (I know it looks like it hasn't been used in far longer!)

I have definitely seen that before and lots, but not recently. So I think it may be on the line I used to live on, rather than near where I am now.

I'll go with Honley?

Given I'd seen it so often. It had to be somewhere I pass frequently, and i hadn't seen it for ages, so it had to be Penistone line from when I lived at Brockholes. Brockholes has an old station masters house on the other side, Lockwood & Berry Brow are too far into the populated areas to have fields opposite and Huddersfield is... Huddersfield. So it had to be Honley!.

Let's skip to somewhere else, with this!

Could it be South Croydon from an awkward angle?

Tis not, I'm afraid.
I'm glad this one is putting up a bit of fight before being guessed, that's what I like!

It is on the Brighton Mainline, and it looks a lot like Wivelsfield because... it is Wivelsfield. On to you!

I tried to choose an innocuous station that people probably pass all the time, but wouldn't recall the name of or pay much attention to. Try to hide it in plain sight. Didn't weork for as long as I hoped!

It turns out I'm on a shortage of British railway pictures, especially ones which are difficult to identify.
I guess I'll leave my turn to someone else this time. :D
