Re: Guess the British station
No way you're trapping us with the name, this isn't in Carlisle proper AFAIK...
Re: Guess the British station
That's a fairly standard thing here ACS...
And I believe it's Mytholmroyd!

Re: Guess the British station
What gets me is, why is the number taken off the front, but its still on the side
Re: Guess the British station
It seems it's not even any station or halt near Carlisle.
I don't think it's Mytholmroyd because this station doesn't have any yellow line along the platform (if you see what i mean). Although taking a look at the train, it could be a station in Yorkshire, but i couldn't tell where...

Re: Guess the British station
Well that's a "Metro" red shelter in the background so that narrows in down.

Re: Guess the British station
It isn't Batley, but it is Mytholmroyd so Pilot has the win...
FAO Redirect Left, I blocked out the number on the front but not the side because it was only when attempting to hide it on the side did I realise how difficult and messy that is on a touch-screen... as it was my own photo and isn't published anywhere online though, I needn't have bothered.

Re: Guess the British station
No to both.
They certainly look like decent trains, shame I wasn't around when they operated in the Manchester area.

Re: Guess the British station
Yes - they were classy units when I used them on the Cathcart Circle in the 1990s.
Drumchapel?
Drumchapel?
Re: Guess the British station
One sure thing, it's either on the North Clyde Line, either on the Cathcart Lines.
EDIT : Hold on... isn't that a bit trolling ? It looks a bit like Retford Low Level though...

Not this time!Kevo00 wrote:Drumchapel?
The file names on pictures in this thread are intentionally misleading a lot of the time if you look back through the history - on this occasion I simply took the name of the station I was stopped at at the time of posting.acs121 wrote:EDIT : Hold on... isn't that a bit trolling ? If anyone seriously thought this was Retford, I would be both shocked and amazed.
