Deaf, I can still read and write and I can learn sign languages. Blindness robs you of an entire visual world that cannot be replaced by words.

I'd do Windows ME, I'm tech savvy enough to deal with the BS that is in almost every version of windows (though being limited to 4GB files would suck)
