Biohazards Scenario&Heightmap Topic
Welcome to my Scenario & Heightmap topic
I am planning to do some scenario / heightmap generation and creations so i decided to make a topic for it.
if you download the biggest (usually 4096x4096) then you can also use the ingame generator to generate smaller sized maps, however i noticed that they simply dont turn out as good as the size-specific ones i also offer. (i blame the algorithms ofc)
if you have specific feedback on maps, lemmy know, i didnt play all maps yet
-- if you wish to have the heightmap for a non-listed size then contact me
INSTRUCTIONS
VISIT http://zxbiohazardzx.zxq.net/heightmap/index.php and click the correct number/size you wish to download
Heightmap 1:
coastal area impression:(shot is the 1024x1024) INSTRUCTIONS
VISIT http://zxbiohazardzx.zxq.net/heightmap/index.php and click the heightmap-1_size_you_wish_to_download.png
AVAILABLE FORMATS:
Resized for map: 4096x4096 (pretty good, though scale might be a bit huge for most players)
Resized for map: 2048x2048 (midscaled, you see some flaws on mountain range but still good)
Resized for map: 1024x1024 (better then i expected, very playable )
Resized for map: 512x512 (still no ugly shaping so i offer it for those looking for medium-sized maps)
Heightmap 2:
inland mountain circle impression: (directly showing the 1024x1024) INSTRUCTIONS
VISIT http://zxbiohazardzx.zxq.net/heightmap/index.php and click the heightmap-2_size_you_wish_to_download.png
AVAILABLE FORMATS:
Resized for map 1024x1024 (since its relatively flat, bigger maps dont look so good)
Resized for map 512x512
Resized for map 256x256
Resized for map 128x128 (small, but still not bad if you like to do a fast game or so)
Heightmap 3:
Mountainrange, coastal area with islands (showing 2048x2048) INSTRUCTIONS
VISIT http://zxbiohazardzx.zxq.net/heightmap/index.php and click the heightmap-1_size_you_wish_to_download.png
AVAILABLE FORMATS:
Resized for map: 4096x4096 (turns out pretty flat)
Resized for map: 2048x2048 (turns out quite ok)
Resized for map: 1024x1024 (for some reason the islands here get a bit messed up)
Resized for map: 512x512 (pretty good result)

Sorry to necro, but I followed the link in your signature, and these looked really cool...
...but the link rot, as feared, did happen. No domain.
