A saved Game

Post by Jabjab »

Hello, I'm new to these forums.

I've been playing ttd for about half a year now.
Here's a savegame for you folks.

Maybe you could try to optimize the station at the factory :)

Do you have a link to his live journal? I'm afraid I can't seem to find it.

It doesn't need too much - it seems to be working pretty well. The only changes I made were:
* get rid of the pre-signals on the entrance to the station
* move the signals up to the end of the entrance lines
* create a double entry to the station
* introduce mandatory servicing before the station on the 'main' line (there was a lot of breakdowns occuring on the exit from the station. although the servicing slows down the entry - slightly - it makes the exit much cleaner)

Screenshot of my brief changes...

No empirical evidence of improvement, I'm afraid, but it seemed to flow better.

Just because RPharazon bagged out my networking capabilities, here is a sample start up system I have used on a map from The_Irish. I think The_Irish sent it to me... He's one of the people that sends me cool maps.

Thanks for playing my scenario.

I would appreciate some feedback on what could be improved.

The scenario, btw, is here available for everyone...

Yes, I got that same problem a couple of months after I posted it. I soon added the signals, and sent them on their way again.

Thanks for pointing it out though :D

Scenario: Wertfurter Kreis.

Post by Dutchman on Rails »

Hello,

I've been a long-time reader of this forum and admirer of many of it's posters. Now I'd like to take on a more active role.
Please find attached a scenario of my making, basically an edited random map. Also included are the cfg files with which the scenario was made, and a zip file with some explanation about the settings.

For those who wish a preview, the screenshot zip file contains five shots that give a general idea of the landscape.

I hope the scenario is received well.

Kind Regards, DoR.
