Different companies sharing stations and waypoints?

Hi, I'm currently working on a map in OTTD based upon the rail system in England and Wales. To make it realistic I need to create several companies for the varying liveries in the trains.

Now, a problem has arisen where I can't allow a train to use a station owned by another company, or even send them through a waypoint. Is there a way I can allow this to happen? Cheers.

You can use the Infrastructure Sharing Patch, found here (OTTD only). If you're using the original Transport Tycoon, I don't think that there is a solution.
