change cargo accepted at a train station

Hello.

I'm playing a subtropical map. I created a town in the middle of the desert, so it needs water and food in order to grow. I created a train station, but it doesn't accept food. I've checked everywhere near the town, and it never accepts food. Is there any way to change the cargo that this station accepts?

Most likely your town is too small. Use the query tool how many buildings accept food and add the portions of food each building accepts. The sum has to be larger than 1 for food to be accepted.

Nope, because towns grow a little bit even on their own - that is, without requiring special cargo (water and food in your case). Unless you have town growth disabled completly, it's just matter of time.
