What is the full list of grfs you are using? Are you starting a new game or loading grfs in an old save?

In all those cases you clicked away a big red warning box that changing newgrf on a running game may have detrimental effects.

When I select only(!) those 2 newgrfs you mention prior to starting a game I do not experience any of those effects you describe.

This is the "Transport Tycoon » Problems" sub-forum. It is intended for problems related to original Transport Tycoon. Your question clearly belongs to the "OpenTTD » OpenTTD Problems" sub forums.

Like so many other posts in this sub-forum, BTW.
