TTDPatch wont load in Vista...

I had TTDeluxe and TTD Patch working fine in XP. I've been playing TT on and off for years. Love it.

Recently got a Vista laptop so decided to install TTD and TTDpatch.

Downloaded TTD from TT.net and the TTDPatch from the link on the TT.net page. Installed TTD and TTDPatch and then moved DPlayX.dll and renamed it Dplay.dll.

Went to my Desktop and tried to run the patch but it says

'Unable to access Transport Tycoon Deluxe CD! $'

What have I forgotten to do??

In your ttdpatch.cfg, make sure the Win2k switch is activated
(Assuming it's still called that, though a search in the TTDP manual/wiki would solve that one)

and of course you always have to run game with ttdpatchw.exe

oke, here comes the real noob question I assume =(... How can u check if win2k is on ????

owh nvm, I checked it and its on but the error is still Unable to find disc and yes I id start it with ttdpatch. I stared at my comp for 2 hours now but I just dont know what to do even after reading all the replies. (noting my first reply this wont surprise u i gues =P )

couldnt someone give a fool proof explenation step by step.....
I realy want to play this game again.
