Sound??

Hi,

Im running WindowsXP and i have got the TTD windows version and the patch and it works fine. Except I can´t get the sound working, ive tried going to TTConfig.exe and selecting the midi drivers but none work..

Any ideas?

Are you sure you have downloaded the WINDOWS version of TTD ? If not, get it on this site. The sounds should work then, or else it´s your sound cards config in windows.

Hi

It could be that your not starting the patch in the right compatibility mode. Make sure it is starting with windows 95 or 98. You get into this by making a shortcut to the patch file (ttdpatchw.exe) and right clicking on it. Properties Compatibility. Then you can set how you want it too start. After that try playing with the sound sets then. But beware some sound cards just don’t work with TTD.
