So, who here has ever wanted to sit up front on a train? Thundering along a mainline, drivers eye view on one of the newest units on the network.

Well... here's your chance! And no, I'm not sneaking you on-board mine

So, some old colleagues of mine have been doing some charity fund raisers for The Princes Trust.
One of the fund raisers they are organising is a bid for a cab ride along the Great Northern Route (Kings Cross to Peterborough or Cambridge). Using ebay because.. well why not? Most people have used it or have an account I guess

But anyway. I've promised to share it around a bit to help it get seen by people who may be interested.

Class 700 Cab Ride

Placed a £75 bid, was instantly outbidded though. I shall monitor it and see what the bid is closer to the ending time, and see if my credit card will forgive me

You're very welcome, hopefully it briings in a nice bit of revenue for the charity. One lucky train fan will get a lovely experience, whoever it ends up being! As I said, i'll monitor it and see how forgiving my card is looking closer to the time
