I get that and I accept that too but, IMO, your picture says about as much as a picture of and empty stretch of sea. Yes, the sea is used for tranportat but a picture of the sea is just that - a picture of the sea.

Sorry mate, I kindly ask you to change your entry.

P.S. Another example...

This is a green field where we sometimes see a tranportation "device".
This is a green field with an actual tranportation "device".

Well, an empty rudimentary gravel tracks in the middle of nowhere is less sophisticated than the great wall...

Again, it's probably not my jurisdiction. If anything, a fluke wouldn't suddenly makes something far removed from the theme be the winner...

It's always been part of Asia. Asia isn't a country, it's a continent, you can't change continent. It was a British Territory until 1997 but has been a territory of China since then.

Edit: Have an entry. Hanoi transport: The usual melee of mopeds and motorbikes cross a level crossing near to the Vietnamese Capital.

Strictly speaking, I am in fact the one who defined Asia for the purpose of this contest (well, technically it was YNM, Voyager One, and myself). I could change Asia (with their consent), but I won't.

Asia is actually a subcontinent of Eurasia, the earth’s largest continent. Physiographically, Eurasia is a single continent.

The division between Europe and Asia as two different continents is a historical and cultural construct, with no clear physical separation between them; thus, in some parts of the world, Eurasia is recognized as the largest of five or six continents.

In geology, Eurasia is often considered as a single rigid megablock.

Well done for jointly winning a 12 vote contest. So Asia is a (sub) continent. My point still stands.

Partially placeholder entry (in case I still can't take what I wanted to capture or can't chose something else) :

Scene of a small town in the rain, when lots of people didn't expect one (including me and families) !

I as hoping to go out and get some photos down on HS1 of a Javelin, but not had some free time sadly.
Thus, I shall have to go with a bit of an older photo :P

I must do something I haven't done yet... I'm changing my entry... As YNM has said, I've already used that lantern once and I've found something else in my records...

Straight from Korea on board a Chinese ship...

P.S. Geo - can you please do me a favor, I can't remove my previous entry being over a week old, could you please? Thanks!

I believe you can remove the attachment from your post even if the post is older than a week using Manage attachments on your User Control Panel, although I never tried it.

A-ha, I didn't know that possibility. Now that I see it, it seems a way to go. Thanks for this info. :D
