Train photos out the wazoo

Post by SpeciesX »

RailPictures.net

Awesome site, a searchable database of train photos, you can find almost anything......North American variety

I found this photo there, it was taken less then a mile from my home. I have actually been in the house you can see behind the train.

It would be even funnier if you were seen in the photo, looking puzzled or something

Hmmmmmm, that first one reminds me of my vacation in Norway back in 2001. Took a ride with such a train, and while doing some research, the route I rode happens to have it's own website .

http://www.raumabanen.net/ (Edit: there's even an English version: http://www.raumabanen.com/nyheter1.html)

I've travelled it from Bjorli to Andalsnes and back, look at the pictures, niiiiceee!

You won't find many places where you can ride a train with such a scenery, train ride of my life .
