Deloitte, near City Thameslink. Twas rather good - ended up having dinner and networking with the speakers and getting A LOT of ideas, benefits, synergies, etc.

I'm down again on the 14th for an Urban Planning seminar in the Euston area in the middle of the day if you fancy meeting up or happen to be off work. I have something on that evening though so have to run back in time.

Spoiler
I presume you're there to shoot a better field agent off the top of a Croydon tram, help him save MI6 and then retire and become Worleypenny?

Tut. No I don't work for the home office. I don't do anything "secret" per se, I just would rather not share who I work for and what I do in a recordable medium.

Sitting on board the 9.53 from Kings Cross to Stevenage. Waiting to go.
doing these journeys fairly often these days.

Also racing a 91 set through the tunnels. He's got nothing on the 365 acceleration. Probably have us at Finsbury Park mind you.

Overrunning engineering works are annoying. The guildford to Woking line is still closed so I'm going to be late for work plus everyone from guildford is rammed in a 455, its already standing only and we've only left London Road (Guildford)...

People (well, FlyerTalk people) flying First with British Airways have been known to turn up at Heathrow 6 hours before their flight to spend half the day in the Concorde Room, BA's premier lounge.

(A consequence of allowing BA Gold members into the First Class lounge is that they basically ended up coming up with an "exclusive" new lounge for actual first class passengers to use!)

My train - 1040 BHI - WFJ has been delayed....

Still, I'm in a first class lounge, and I'm happy.
