Your CURRENT train journey?

Post by Dave »

So, next time you're on board your train and you remember to log in, or have wifi or whatever, post here...

I'm currently on board 1H34 1112 BSW-MYB... Just arriving at Leamington Spa. I'm tethering off my mobile.

Chiltern service well-loaded but not full. Table seat and able to stretch my legs. Bag of crisps for breakfast on way to Kingston in Surrey for an interview.

This ticket cost me £16.50 Bite me.

You will be close to where I used to live (New Malden) but still quite far away from where I live now...

Been on 150001 many times although not as many as Dave. It's nothing special and it's smelly.

But it is extra long! In a world of 2 carriage 150s, a 150 middle car is like woah!

Well mildly interesting the first time anyway...

Mind you, its nothing like those old Central 3-car 150/1+ /2 hybrids.... 150001 is much more sleeker ;)

On the 0916 Doncaster - London, a 225 set. Stuck just outside Doncaster station because of a problem with one of the train doors. Not best happy as I'm on my way to the Olympics...

Edit: Moving now, my guess is the driver failed to perform his checks before leaving the station.

Currently on the 1451 Edinburgh - London Euston service, 390007, headign to Crewe. Coach J, seat 14, first class. A few minutes late setting off from Edinburgh. The Pendolinos do seem a bit quieter than the Super Voyagers, I must say - it helps not having a diesel engine under your seat I suppose.

Next train will be the Arriva Trains Wales "Premier Service" from Cardiff to Holyhead in first class, although I'll only be on it from Crewe to Flint. Should be nice!
