My favorite MUs are the british ones with yellow heads with a door in the middle. Especially those with a door at every seat.

I don't know what they are called, but I traveld with one from Hastings to London 2 years ago. It was love from first sight. :)

I mean here people except the train crew to close the door even at trains with manual doors, but with those neet british trains the travelers closes the doors after themself. ... Also that door at the head togeather with the yellow colour (british spelling for a british train!) is so nice...

[EDIT: found a picture of the train: http://www2.freefoto.com//images_d/23/3 ... %2C+London ]

Those are all really neat locos.

I find it interesting to see what style of locomotives people like.

Beautiful steamer MAVAG series 11. I suppose this picture is not good enough to show how beautiful is this locomotive (if you sometimes go to Belgrade, it's in front of main railway station)

Not saying that this is my favourite train or anything, but I recently quite enjoyed a journey on this EuroCity train from Vienna to Budapest:

(excuse the blurry shots)

The train was very nice and spacious. Quite different from most British trains!

I´ve got a bunch of favourite trains, here are some of them

Steam locomotive: The german DRG class 05 locomotive. nice streamlined loco.

Diesel locomotive: Class 68 loco. looks sleek and nice, espacially with th nova 3 trainset

Electric locomotive: SJ RA class"Rapid". i aslo like the Rc-loco and the american HHP-8.

MU:s : SJ X55 high speed EMU. this is my favourite train of all time! i really like the metallic sides, feels pretty...natural?, i guess. The acceleration sound is so pleasing. And the woody inside combined with modern grey seats, information screens, silver SJ logo and the awesome wheelchair lift it´s an beautiful train!
