have you ever imagined a train travelling with sun energy? :)
that's it, I'll post the english document (I am reading the italian one :P)

But why use the light energy to produce electricity to drive the motors?
Wouldn't it be easier to make it boil water to generate steam and make another electric-fired steamer? :P

For how much of the train's energy usage would those solar cells produce?

I think this topic is best at place in the off-topic section by the way.

the energy will be accumulated in batteries located in every carriage of the train :)

Yeah but how many % of the train's energy usage is produced by those solar cells?

As I read they mean to produce 100% energy used by the train and accumulate abundant energy for use with reduced light absorption (ex: galleries, rain, etc.)
