Hi everyone! Here's my entry for the competition:
Granford lagoon. Water may not be suitable for drinking, but it's good enough for some boating fun.

The Hawkesbury River and Mullet Creek. The freight train is almost across the Hawkesbury River Bridge and through the Mullet Creek Tunnel heading north to Brisbane, Queensland. There is a rowing event taking place on the creek. Not sure how the wake from the fishing boat will effect them. The area is famous for the oysters and shrimp (prawns). There also a pod of dolphins in the area.

Thanks! The fences around industries are from ISR/DWE style objects, CIRSO and FaCSO, and VAST fences for the diagonal parts. If you're talking about the slopes next to the electrified tracks, those are from the Embankments from GarryG's Auz Water And Landscape Objects.

An arctic cold blast has hit the Bay of Fundy; it separates the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, with St.John and Digby major cities either side of the Bay ... Rail and road services have been suspended, luckily ferry and some air services are still operating, so is maritime cargo transportation. Just in case, icebreakers are on standby to keep sea lanes open ... Unfortunately, the Annual World Partridge Island Rowing Regatta Championship had to be called off due to the inclement weather; organisers and competitors alike are devastated ...

All screenshots in this month's competition boat extremely well for the future of OpenTTD.

Yes, I spent all day coming up with that pun. No, I do not have anything better to do.

Haha, well done, Taschi. I agree, a wonderful selection of screenshots. My personal favorites are Fridaemons (the level of detail and work, man!) and OzTrans (those docks look really lovely with the snowy landscape).

Have the same feeling :D thanks ;) I'm in love with OzTrans' screenshot. Really nice and different snow country.

Honestly, I didn't plan to enter the competition, but when I saw a small number of competitors, I got into it. I expanded my previous city with river, boats, hypermarket, bus depot and took screenshot. Not sure if you see it, but under water there is subway system, :D

There some good ones there .. if I had to choose just one, I would have to ponder on it for a while deciding. Voting for 3 .. well not telling.
Quast65 wrote: 01 Jul 2021 14:41 From what set are these tiles?
I had to go looking to remember where these was so while at it making a few additions .. hope to upload in my object set either tonight or tomorrow morning.

You giving more ideas .. Subway system with a fake water above it could make a good underwater subway .. make the mind ponder on it.

Cheers all

Before you do that you might be able to save yourself some work. I think jgrpp supports tunnels under water.

But only in straiggt lines and without stops so they're not really useful as subway systems.

Also, even vanilla OpenTTD allows tunnels under water, unless that water isn't an ocean.
