Anyway, enjoy.

Re: Screenies, old and new
The year is 1985. Transport tycoons the world over are looking for new ventures. The vast expanses of Africa lay untapped. One company dares to take it all.
Enter Gypsy Rail.
Roster: British (Iron Horse 2)
No man works alone, which is why the first line erected by Gypsy Rail is a passenger line.
A coach is chartered to bring in workers to help construct the new line.
Two months later, the locomotive workshops have finally fallen silent, as the consist set to run the new line has finished construction. Champange is prepared to celebrate the line's grand opening.

Re: Screenies, old and new
It's been a few months, and the new route has many passengers taking it on the daily. Gypsy Rail has acquired a new rail-laying machine and is setting up a new route.
But where will this new route lead? As the line continues construction, it's becoming clearer what is going on. On the harbor town of Whitlow, business was busier than usual. A new station had just been erected, and would soon connect to the new passenger line.
The rail-laying crew was working as fast as possible but were distracted by an oasis visible in the distance. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a fruit plantation! The crew took a brief detour to set up a station there, which took quite a considerable amount of time. The executives were not happy with this interruption, but they realized it would be a killer opportunity to start shipping fruit. The rail-laying crews went back to work connecting Whitlow to the network.

Re: Screenies, old and new
After countless interruptions, the city of Whitlow was finally connected to the network. The fruit plantation had began selling fruit to Gypsy Rail, and they've sent their first train to collect it.
However, upon arriving back, the company realized that for some odd reason, nobody wanted to buy the raw fruit. A new highway connection had been built recently, so the company jumped on the opportunity to see if they could sell fruit to other towns. After passing through several cities, all of whom declined to purchase their fruits, they found one town willing to give them a shot. As it turns out, the town's juicery had been out of stock for a long while, and they welcomed this new supply chain with open arms.
Eager to milk as much money out of this new opportunity, Gypsy Rail offered to ship the juices to customers. Unlike last time, the towns were willing to purchase these juices, and were, in fact, quite happy to do so.
-
After a back-and-forth with the local authorities at Old Sherberg, the OSLA declined the construction of a bus terminal, citing noise complaints caused by the fruit and juice trucks travelling through the quiet town deep into the night. Of course, the company wouldn't let a few noise complaints impede progress. They were intent on building a passenger connection out of Old Sherberg. So, they plopped a train station right in the middle of downtown.

Re: Screenies, old and new
The year is 1991. Gypsy Rail is doing quite well for themselves. They're set to pay off their loan, and if the rumors are true, they're even planning on building a new oil route-
