I'm only an interested observer but I say stick to ships, the ones that sail the seas (and occasionally rivers), seeing as they don't get enough love around here. Better do that now before the future update that removes canals (and ships) comes rolling in, also. :P

Entries are closing soon, get your last minute ones in now!
Anyway here's my entry, another one from NetTrans as that was my most ship heavy game ever...
The harbour and waterway near Lace Newts is brimming with ships going in all directions; everything from fishing boats to supertankers are constantly trying not to crash into each other.

Oh man!!! I wish I was able to get into this one, however my main PC is out with a severely blown mother board bound graphics chip and my old WindowsXP single core back up PC is a slug. :P I'm lucky its got enough oomph for me to type this, but it should be enough to allow me to look at the entries and cast a vote. 8)

One of my favourite harbours, the Stakskog bulk terminal and scrap yard compound. The year is 2173, and the harbour has recently been expanded.

Nice to have a great selection of naval screenshots before the feature disappears from OTTD forever ;)

Well, it's a draw. ;) Good competition.

Can't say I have any deep inspiration for a next theme. With trains soon removed from the game, I'm not sure we can finish the competition in time. So, roads/RVs/trams/etc? Hasn't been done yet, I think. But I'll leave it up to leif ;)

I hadn't expected to come even close to winning this month, there were so many nice screenies. Making a draw with Pyoro's, the screenshot that I personally liked best and voted for, feels good.

I second the idea of a Trams & RVs theme.

Congratulations to leifbk and Pyoro for their well-deserved draw! Good choice of theme too, it's nice to encourage people to use the less popular modes of transportation (although I personally usually have more RVs than trains on my maps)

Here are the final voting results:

leifbk 7
Pyoro 7

Anyway, entries are now open, let's hit the road! :D

It is my native city Samara (Russia). Residents and guests use the following public transport: buses, trams, trolleybuses and private minibuses, subways and commuter trains. I decided to show that part of the city where I live at the moment. In the southern part - train station Bezymyanka. In that part of town (neighborhood Bezymyanka), where I live, most often residents ride on buses, trams and private mini buses. But some residents of the neighborhood ride on the commuter train, since it is to avoiding traffic jams in the city. Our neighborhood is a rich diversity of different parks and gardens.

The Piltinghatten-Graslund area, a fairly common Norwegian scenery: two communities separated by a rather wide sound, recently connected by a long bridge. There's a bus line between the two towns, and the bridge is in heavy use by trucks carrying raw materials to a brick work situated to the south. A forest delivering wood to a paper mill is seen west of Piltinghatten.

I've been very busy for the last month and unable to produce a decent new scenery. So I'm returning to one of my personal favourite views. Sorry, no trams.

I'm the same so I pulled something out of my old NetTrans game; refer back to this post on my screenshot thread for the background
The Sugar Party Farming District's transport needs have been taken over by Red's Transport after NetTrans sold the rights to transport the grain products to the food plants. Various other road traffic is also seen using the cross bay bridges, including milk tankers, supply vans and a regional bus. Heavy shipping traffic swarms the waters surrounding the peninsula.

And the entries are in!
A warm welcome to our newcomers, ALEXbr and SilverSurferZzZ (I don't recall you submitting here before, I might be wrong)

First, a couple of questions:
@flogeza: I assume that "straddling bus" is just a mockup, or is it actually in a NewGRF?

@piratescooby: Where are those parking garage tiles from? AuzObjects or something else?

Anyway, here are the entries for the "Trams and Road Vehicles" theme.
