Don't let that stop you, don't you have any older saves lying around? Also there's no rule against staging a scene specifically to make a screenshot.
I'm gonna fire up my old laptop later today, and see what I can pull from there :)

The entries are in, and we have a whopping 16 entries this month. A new record, unless I am very much mistaken :D

I would also like to welcome Leanden, -3s- and RAD750 to the competition; and welcome back to some old hands ;)

Now before we begin, I'd like to say that I will no longer be accepting entries sent to me by private message. Every month I have received one entry via PM, interestingly from a different person each time. It makes the process a little more complicated because I have to download and re-upload the image and it's better to have them all in one thread, even if they're posted right before the deadline.

Now let's get voting! Speaking of voting, I'll also be voting in the Australian elections...

The small town of Mannville lies on a peninsula on the east coast of Tiger Island. Apart from the resort hotel that is a common fixture on the island, the town is also home to a scrap yard and a large oil refinery and chemical plant. Both the passenger and the freight lines terminate here, and there is moderate road traffic from both tourist buses and industrial trucks.

The town of Baldwin isn't dwarfed by just one big industry, but three (and three small ones not seen)! From counter-clockwise left, the textile mill produces over 3800 crates of materials a month, the steel mill produces over 6000 tons of metal, and the livestock yard takes in over 5000 head of livestock to produce over 4000 tons of food per month. The area is serviced by 40 trains, 50 trucks, and also produces over 7000 passengers and mail every month.

Four new machine shops have opened in the region requesting Runtown steel ,can Runtown Smelter keep up with the demand can the Smelter get enough workers and can they get enough resources , time will tell .

The steel mill in San Lorenzo al Mare is the biggest of its kind in the entire country.
The "worker's village" as it is called forms a perfect harmony with the heavy industry. The steel plant is served by an electrified railway: a steel coils train is leaving the plant while an empty ore train hauled by a new E.632 "Tiger" locomotive waits.
The main station being freight-only, passengers travel on a local diesel line. Regional train 21057 hauled by a D.445 is seen stopped at the platform, waiting to depart for Genova Brignole.

Saint John is home to the largest oil refinery in Canada. Crude arrives from the middle east by VLCC at the Canaport docking buoy, the refinery's deep water port on the Bay of Fundy as well as by rail from the Fort McMurray, Alberta oil sands and the Bakken Formation in North Dakota, USA. The product is shipped by coastal tankers from the Courtenay Bay Oil Terminal to destinations along the East coast of North America, as well as by tank truck to local points. Here we see a GP9 picking up some empties to be parked on a siding on the far side of Marsh Creek where a pair of GP40s heads West with empties in need of a refill.

I this month did not participate, since I do not have a suitable screenshot.

I really like a wide variety of screenshots. Thank you for your participation. Very beautiful screenshots, everybody is unique :)) . It is very difficult to make a choice...
But I will vote for the screenshot romazoon :D . Phew. It was very difficult for me to make a decision  .

Kamnet's screenshot, with that town name "Baldwin", reminds me of the great Cab Forwards they manufactured. One of those factory surely produces the Cab Forwards ordered by Espee. How many of them rolled out of there in half a year?

I think now I can safely congratulate with the victory screenshot doikdi :D . It is unlikely that another screenshot will be able to catch up on the number of votes, although the vote still have a little time.

Oh the irony! A tie in May and doikdi deferred to my choice in theme, only to win decisively with a massive 10 to my lowly 1, but I shall not complain for I as well voted for doikdi as it would seem that he understood my choice of theme so much better than did I.

Congratulations doikdi on an excellent submission and a hearty congratulations to all those participants who helped to make this the best contest yet, and 34 votes! Is that a record too? :D

Congrats doikdi! A very good screenshot!
And well done to my fellow participants, also all very good shots (I voted for oftcrash by the way, liked his interpretation of the theme ;-) )
Here is doikdi's image again. I'm sure some of us would like to know where the dirt tracks come from, are they objects or a road set?
Those are objects, GarryG's Auz Roadside Objects I believe (can be found on Bananas)

Thanks for the votes guys! I'm really happy that people like my work. :) I don't know the history of this contest to know if it's a record breaker or not, but i'm glad to see so many people participating. Some nice screenshots here.

@Emperor Jake: The roads are from GarryG's Auz Roadside Objects. He did a really good job there.

As for this month theme, i was thinking of "Orient Express". Anything related to the legendary train linking Paris to Istanbul. Landscape, train stations, cities, etc. Whatever screenshot you can imagine inspired from the real places of this great train line.

If you think the theme it's too general or not suited to this contest, the moderator can choose another one. :)

@STD: You got it right this time! :)

I like this theme :D . I did a little research on the subject using Wikipedia and other sites. You say each can player can show something of this route. You please verify what we can show in our screenshots.
I have different options - the movement of passenger trains between the cities on the route of the Orient Express, stopping in Paris, Istanbul, sea ferry connections to Istanbul and much more :) .

I can use any passenger train in the screenshot? (A bit like the Orient Express) No one set of trains from the game does not have a copy of Orient Express.
Personally, I'm not entirely clear on this issue.

I think some clarifications are in order.

1. I was thinking about the original route of the Orient Express line, when the Express was in it's full glory. (1883-1914, as wikipedia says). Paris-Vienna-Bucharest-Varna-Istanbul (via ferry).
2. I don't know any train set that contain the Orient Express, so any look-alike train will do. If someone will find some train set with Orient Express in it, please let us know.

@STD: Yes, you can do any of those shots that you listed there, as long as they are related to this train line. Varna train to ferry exchange will be a very nice thing to see. :)
@TheAmir259: I don't think that in 1914 they had an underwater tunnel :)

Only recently has the Orient Express used the Channel Tunnel, and that is after the passengers are taken off of the train at Folkestone West, and put onto a coach to go through the Tunnel. The train itself does not pass through the tunnel.

That's a really great theme, I already have something in mind :D However it is a bit more specific then the themes we usually have, so we might have less entries than usual. I don't want to narrow it down too much, so I think entries from all time periods should be valid, even if someone wants to do a theoretical future Orient Express.

Not exactly, but I think 2cc Trainset's steel intercity coaches look the part enough
