Afraid I don't have a ghost of a chance to enter as busy with family at moment.

Wally and I think a like in some ways. Been pondering on a idea similar to yours. But my idea was to leave tracks in and have invisibly train with the smoke and maybe make some ghostly figures at the station.

Unfortunately I got no chance to do anything about it.

Cheers

Intended to upload this earlier, but couldn't get it quite the way I wanted to...

For ages, Asara has been an important junction in the National Railways, but it has also seen tradegies in it's past. The worst of which was on a cold Halloween Night...
An express train, filled with people heading home after a long day's work, got crushed by rockfall just out of town. Due to how late it was, and the train being the last for the day, the accident was not noticed until the next day...

Ever since, on October the 31st, a ghost train travels down the Asara valley, a memory of the tragic accident that happened so long ago...

90 years ago, 30 workers died in a fatal accident at the Tronston's sawmill...

At the present time nobody wants to work on the night shift because according to the stories... the spirits of those dead workers rise every night from their graves to continue with their work of loading the old Tronston train with wood.

The Ghost Train Of Riverton Ravine

It was close to midnight, October 31, 1900 and the gold mine at the Town of Riverton had played out and the Riverton Railroad train was about to make its final run across the Riverton Ravine Trestle with a roster of officials going to Riverton Woods Station to officially close the town before returning across the trestle the following morning on its way back to the city. The platform was crowded with the last of the town's residents. They heard the train's mournful whistle and saw as it approached the far end of the trestle when it happened. A flash of light brighter than the night's full moon, the sound of wood snapping and metal tearing, followed by the moans and groans and sobs of survivors in agony and the train and trestle were no more. The witnesses on the platform rushed to the scene and found ... nothing ... no trestle, no train, no passengers, no rubble. It was as if it never was. The station master was on the platform in front of his office when at precisely midnight he heard the tap tap of his telegragh tapping "sos sos please oh please help us please sos".

The station and the rails are long gone, but close to midnight of every October 31 the scene repeats itself ... the flash of light, the moans and groans and sobs of passengers who are not there, the mournful whistle and the funnel's smoke and steam from a train that is not there, crossing a trestle that is not there and if precisely at midnight one should stand on the long abandoned platform just in front of where the station master's office used to be, one might hear the tap tap of a telegraph tapping "sos sos please oh please help us please sos" ...

No entries yet, it might be a quiet one so I slapped this one together :)

Based on the classic British Rail IC125 ad: Crikey, it's the rozzers!

Police Chase
============
Out of the East we see B.J. and The Bear.
Out of the North we see Smokey and The Bandit.
Out of the South we see The Dukes of Hazard driving The General Lee.
And out of the West we see the bus from Speed with a bomb on board.
And they're all converging on Hazard County, Georgia.
IT MUST BE A POLICE CHASE CONVENTION!

It's Merry Christmas time again. The trees are lit and the CP Rail Holiday Train is at the station with a cargo of music and good cheer and glad tidings for all. Better be good. There will be presents under the tree tomorrow. Sorry, no lumps of coal this year. The Climate Changers wanted it all for themselves.

It's Christmas 1831 and Santa just visited this dairy farm.

Kids out side near the house waving to Santa and his sleigh fly's away pulled by 6 white boomers (White Kangaroos).

He left the father something very unusual for Christmas for that time of year.

It's Christmas and the town of Lonham is in darkness ... except for its main square where all the inhabitants of the town have parked their cars around the big christmas tree...

In this town, no one is left alone tonight, those who have no family or those who lost their loved ones share the moment with entire families that have even taken their pets, being part, all of them of a big family and community that celebrates this special day together.
