Thanks STD. my votes went also for 2 of those people mentioned. I didn't include myself :P
Please, ISA  . That's why I like this vote every month. The main feature is the unpredictability of the voting results :) . Well, except when often the winner is the screenshot from urban areas depending on the title of the theme  . This is a feature already, a tradition in other words  .

I hope that the new winner will be able to come up with a new name for the theme, no less interesting than the current theme  .

The disappointing part of this theme is that "le_harv" never entered. :(

Lol, thanks! Definitely appreciated. Simply put, good old real life has got in the way. Selling my house plus lots of work travel leaves little time!

I still voted and I will see if I can take part in next months. It was actually ISA’s screenshot from their thread that inspired me for this theme because it isn’t your typical river crossing!

Well done to everyone, I always enjoy how themes get interpreted.

You can be the winner of the competition again. The main thing is to be able to take a screenshot, which will be special and interesting, with the maximum match the current theme  . But there are still important conditions - it is necessary to have an appropriate mood to create this screenshot, more free time for the game :)) .

Thank you very much for all of you. I played Transport Tycoon a lot, when it was almost a new game in the 90s and discovered openttd a few time ago.
I want to congratulate Garry and ISA. Their works and the previous competitions inspires for newer and better games.

About the next competition....well, I thought in "Sustainable Stations". Railway Stations that seek to optimize natural resources and building systems, in order to minimize the environmental impact of buildings on the environment and its passengers.

What do you think?

If I understand you correctly presume that means freight type stations and transporting items like mining and timbers :?:

Cheers pal

No!. They are modern stations with the lastest tecnologies, lots of green space, natural light. etc. Google "Sustainable Stations" and you will see some examples.

All we need now is for our intrepid Emperor to change the first post from TBD to the new theme and declare it as official.

The winner has spoken, the November theme will be Sustainable Stations

An interesting theme, unlike anything we've had before, good choice! My first thought is that I can't think of a GRF that has solar panel covered platforms...

Entries are open, let's reduce our carbon footprint and go green!

An interesting variant of the theme. I like it when a completely new topic appears, different from all the past :D . Perhaps there is couple of ideas and on this time. And still there are several sets of NewGRF's just for this theme  .

Good luck to all in the implementation of their ideas on the relevant theme  .

Interesting indeed. I just wonder, to what extent am I allowed to develop custom GRFs for the competition?

There only one big stations in Australia to my knowledge that would be classed a Sustainable Stations and that be the new Newcastle Interchange.

Lots of suburban stations I guess could be called Sustainable Stations as they unmanned and the original buildings been removed and replaced with a smaller building with clear walls to allow the light in so no need for awning lights to be on of a day.

Like this one on Platform 2 at a place called Dora Creek. Some of the stations similar to this have gardens and park land to make it look nicer.
