The line Hradka–Ostrava is now double-tracked. For that, the line through the mountains got a new route for millions of crowns. The old tracks are still there.

The station of Břotec in the east of this section. The old platforms including the station building are still there. The track for wood-loading was built after the building of the new route. The track in the south runs to an sawmill.

Brno is now the biggest city, bigger than the capital Prague. Now it has a station building (the original is in Tokyo), while it before only had two train sheds. It is a bit similar to the station building in Pilsen (the original is in Amsterdam).
