You should go to work so that your co-workers can buy you a cake
Wonder... Where I live, I must buy a cake to coworkers when I have a celebration :/ Wally tradition seems A LOT better!
But your celebration is only one per year, but if you have 10 co-workers... Better is giving 1 cake than 10 cakes

FROM QCM: This is Montreal, my home town. At the center is the Gare Centrale (central railway station), which opened in 1943. At the bottom, with the pink pavement, is the Place du Canada Park. Above the Gare Centrale you can see the Saint-Andrew And Saint-Paul Church. And just besides the church is the Bell Center, home of the Montreal Canadiens hockey team. My reference image is here: http://is.gd/MUKB1A.

They're all amazing, but I can't help but lol at the fact that Quast65 and I appear to be living in the same town. 8)
That's an awesome reproduction of the good old Delft station! I actually was planning on doing the same for this competition but I didn't have time.
I presume the typical modern Dutch houses and canal houses are non-released, self-produced graphics?

Thnx! Funny to meet another Delft resident ;-) Three of us now from there. THS, who drew the Delft station comes from there too (lives in the USA now though).
The modern Dutch houses are from this GRF: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... 0#p1093132
Although I did code the graphics from that into new-objects so I could place them the way I wanted.

The Canal Houses were drawn by Caelan years ago: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... 00#p415000
Coded them as objects too, but these are not available in a public GRF.

Thanks for the link to the GRF!
I noticed the DDM-1 consist has the cab facing forward. Is that actually possible with the Dutch train set? I noticed the DACH set supports this but it doesn't in my version of the Dutch train set. Or could that be due to the fact that I use the 2.0 version and not a test version?

Oh, I didn't see that. ok.
But then why attach the image to some, and just add the link to others?
Not complaining though, I'm sure people will see it still and it won't skew the votes right

Those that had links that could be found online, I put them in the comments. Those that couldn't because they ere custom made I included here. But, were judging just based on the screenshots, not on how much it might compare to the real places. Some chose not to submit any at all.

I disagree. This month challenge was to recreate a real life place. And since the theme was "Your Home", you are restricted by the place you live. Since not everyone might live in a spectacular place, not everyone can make a spectacular screenshot.

Therefor, I think every contestant did a good job on recreating his home, and I won't submit any vote.

Lolled also. The Hague resident (and former TU student) here

As of a few months ago however, your screen is not a genuine reproduction of the location. There shouldn't be any buildings left standing other than the historical station
