Very interesting, I wonder how difficult it would be to implement a new advanced option to disable that loading penalty, rather than just deleting/commenting out that code block...

Screenshots should take place any time before 1950-ish. I'd like to see some historic scenes - get screenshotting!

(I appreciate some players may not usually play in the earlier years, but give it a try, and there is no rule against staging)

Various variants are possible ( up to the beginning of 50 years): station about resource centres and factories of different, ports, stations in the cities and others .
