Thanks for the advice. I used a pre built scenario of my home county meaning I couldn'd put in any GRFs without the PC crashing.

The PC won't crash.

Mostly, you can add station GRFs and graphic-changing GRFs w/o the game crashing.
I would be careful with adding vehicle GRFs, as they may override each other.
Other types of GRFs are mostly un-addable.

Also, DO NOT remove a GRF that you have already used. e.g. If you build a GRF station, don't remove that GRF.

If I'm Quite honest, I didn't try it because I was being cautious. Now however, it isn't possible because I now use 1.1.1

There is a 'hack' that you can use to regain GRF add-and-remove capabilities.

set scenario_developer 1

into the console.

Note that YOU SHOULD NOT FILE BUG REPORTS IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG AFTER YOU HAVE CHANGED A NEWGRF!!!

Here is the newly installed PRT (Personal rapid transit) system. It looks as if the trains are on a random path but this is achieved by giving each train different orders.
