Final pic dump of my UKRS game, I finished it in September..
#1 - Otley, with the Ipswich-Longbenton line relocated (and given separate platforms)
#2 - Burton, just southwest of Longbenton
#3 - Rochester, in the southeastern corner of the map

Swiss game this time..
#1 - Climbing massive mountain faces is fun!
#2 - Approaching the drop on the other side of the plateau
#3 - Oh, come on! Also, automated stall warnings? Neat.

Re: [OTTD] Screens by Valdez
#1 - One of the new Be4/6s on the Wohlen mountain line..
#2 - Stäfa is located in a broad valley on the Thalwil-Langenthal Line. Given its profile (the line passes two mountain ranges, with summits at Schwyz and Münchenstein), it was one of the first lines to be electrified.
#3 - Another part of the Wohlen line, just west of the junction where Le Locle and Fribourg branches of the line diverge.

Re: [OTTD] Screens by Valdez
#1 - Of course, there are express trains too, like this CIWL sleeper on the Thalwil-Wallisellen service. Even opposite corners of the map aren't a problem.
#2 - A Red Arrow railcar on the Glarus branch of the Thalwil-Stäfa-Langenthal line
#3 - The third of the mainlines that have been electrified so far - Thalwil-Davos, again with extensive mountain sections (that, in this case, preclude doubling of the track)

#1 - A few decades later, the CIWL sleepers are the oldest rolling stock on the network, while the rest has been upgraded several times over. Also, last look at Richterswil before the freight yard was built.
#2 - Wallisellen-Sursee line and a Re4/4II with an express train. As of this moment, the Re4/4IIs form about 1/3 of the total engine pool (and that includes railcars and MUs).
#3 - Another express, this time the RAe TEE EMU..

Re: [OTTD] Screens by Valdez
I love your pictures! By the way, what's that mod that changes the railway fences into hedges?
Re: [OTTD] Screens by Valdez
Canadian stations, grf-setting. On arctic maps it makes them stone walls.kulacskarcsi wrote:I love your pictures! By the way, what's that mod that changes the railway fences into hedges?
I don't see that being used in the recent posts though. Those are the nutracks fences, iirc.

Mizari:
Yeah, that. I replaced NuTracks with Japanese tracks roughly halfway through the game, though (not recommended, unless you want to spend next ~5 hours replacing track with the type you want (hope you did enjoy pixel-hunting in the old point-and-click adventure games).
Also, thanks for the kind words, guys.. I have some screens of the Swiss game still in my folder, though I'm currently fooling around with the new Japanese releases (TE for MUs? Yay. Costs too? Ouch, but that was to be expected.)

Imagedump from the rest of the Swiss game, without any comments (hope you don't mind). Now I'm toying around with the Japanese set..
