Benny's screenshots
Welcome to Bennythen00b's awesome screenshot topic.
I usually fail miserabely when trying to play a good or successful game in OpenTTD, and mostly due to me not beeing statisfied with the "realistic factor" of my networks. Therefore I have created this topic to show you screenshots from the games that I am statisfied with.

Re: Benny's screenshots
So you aren't satisfied with all these 5 pages of screenshots?

Re: Benny's screenshots
No. I made that topic to make screenshots that I could put in it, which wasn't fun at all. When I played a SP game, I was like; "Hmm.. I gotta make something cool to put in my screenshot topic." And I am not even statisfied with most of the screenshots in there either..

Deutsche Bahn
NewGRF list:
Map:
1: Eastburg and Runnley. Not much to say, really..
2: Fluninghall and New Hinnington. A bus line is going to be built between the two cities in due time. The two cities' mayors has had a little fight, making us inable to build a road there before. (What a bad exuse. I just didn't think of it before now. )
3: Preningville, Benningwell Ridge and some of Wintbrigde in the lower right. Wintbride is not served by a railway station, because I didn't find any place to put a station, and at the same place; look good. Passengers from Wintbridge has to take a short bus trip in to either Fluninghall or Benningwell Ridge if they want to travel longer than to New Hinnington, which can be reached by bus.

Excellent screens indeed, nice work

Re: Benny's screenshots
Thanks A LOT.
3 more screens from 1943. (Like the ones in my last post were.)
4: Bondwood, on a little branch line from Benningwell Ridge.
5: Nuworth and Nardingham. I don't like the look of all these original TTD-buildings.. By some reason I included Pikka's Suburban houses in my newGRF list.. So far it's the biggest town on the map.
6: Marnville. No idea why it's serviced by a commuter train. Just like how it looks, I assume.. Well, anyways; So far it's the end of this line, which will be expanded to Wrunhattan Springs and Menfingway in the nearest future, creating a nice place to make a steel mill station.

Re: Benny's screenshots
Hmm.. Seems that I have to leave this game, as I totally f*** up the newGRFs.. The CSD set made me unable to refit any wagon to carry iron ore, and removing it did not help. And as I've already said; I don't like the looks of Pikka's Suburban houses combined with TTRS.

Wrinnton Transport
Firstly: I, um.. I kind of forgot to use German town names, so let's just pretend that they are there, okay?
1: Bendinghead Central, the last major passenger station before entering the mountains. This is also the last southern station on the newly built dual-track line. Therefore, all traffic south of this area consists of EMUs only. The BR 144 rumbling through Bendinghead Central is the first freight train on the network.
2: Sadborough. The first station to be built, just a few days before pindingville. Not much else to say, really..
3: Retfield Heights. The dream station for a trainspotter. People can stand safely above the trains, or at the upper platform. All electrical trains must terminate here, as we just recently got a new train for our disposal, the V140 diesel engine.

4: Pindingville, the second station to be built on the network. People have complained about too few trains, and we have ordered a new ET-87 due to this. This was also the first station to have its own car parking area.

Re: Benny's screenshots
Quite like these, what's going on with the little rail station in the sidings with a road station attached to it, freight loading?

Re: Benny's screenshots
What GRF are those catenaries from?
Loving the stations, you've obviously taken a few minutes to make each look a bit individual - well done

Re: Benny's screenshots
Good shots Benny It seems to me that the screenshots forum is dying out a bit at the moment, would you agree ? Perhaps I should crank up the old Swiss ones again ?
Re: Benny's screenshots
I do think that there is a lack of activity in this forum at the moment. And sure, just upload some screenies.
