Tayvan Transport [Updated]
yes i started a game, 1915, so not A LOT to do exept for line-building and buying engines, no wagons available yet (first expected in 1921, but the chief of the company decided to take over 2 local lines and with permission of the local government, started a railroad company for the alpine area. he starts building on a coal line (since the two lines already build where coal) and i will fill this topic with screenshots soon enough, when game gets going/when i resised them:)

Re: Tayvan Transport
Post#1:
First the line Tayvan Took over from the local authorities, small short coal line from the local coal mine to a power station in the town...
no engine on it as i still dont have wagons, till i get any wagons i build tracks+steam engines, but no wagons (do calc the costs in advance though) the next images are the other line we took over from a set of towns that invested in a railline for coal:

We Follow that Coal line all the way down, as it travels through the valley, and joins the other coal mine on that line near Frefingburg

Coming out of the mountains, the tracks pass the small town of Tindhead and shortly after that starts crossing farmland and its final destination: Binfingbridge Power Station (renamed the station, semi-old-screen)

Nice shots on tricky terrain there, and interesting logo too, did you make that?

Your railway look pretty cool, but your screenshots lack trains...
What about following a train on its journey, instead of following an empty railway line?
Keep up the good work though!

Re: Tayvan Transport
id love to Purno but check the date, its 1916 latest save/screenshot so i dont have any goods wagons yet, i can build the rails and the locomotives, but i do not have any coal-wagons, (only 1 expess passenger wagon and 1 mail van available, and i decided to make a story here so wait for it:) im not gonna year-cheat to get them 1 savegame earlier, next save will be close to the wagon release, thus you will see the trains in action on those lines as well, promise youPurno wrote:Your railway look pretty cool, but your screenshots lack trains...

What trainset are you using? (Or going to use, once the wagons are available)

Re: Tayvan Transport
I think those 3 trainsets should provide sufficient engines, especially the 2ccset got loads of them.

The Experimental Refinery near Slarnway and the Oil Wells near Fundinghattan have build a railway to supply the Experimental refinery when the time is there, our company has succesfully gained the right to exploit this line when its opened for service.
the Refinery The line pt 1 Bridge over the Lake, on request of Wrunnley to save the ecological zones near the lake

Re: Tayvan Transport
After the bridge, the line starts climbing up towards the mountains, preparing itself for the bigger climb near the end
More climbing of hills and expensive specialistic foundationbuilding
then the trains come close to the Fundinghatten Train Service Facility, and go further up the mountainside to reach the destination

Re: Tayvan Transport
Great news! we finally constructed the railway from the Prundingstone Food Inc. to the Alexton Farm near Tarhill, we had A LOT of problems with the mountain, but our engineers have created beautifull solutions for that:
Prudingstone Food Inc. and the hill-climbing loop, followed by the longest man-made tunnel in the country, unfortunantly 153 workers died building it, let them be remembered.
View on the tunnel +Fundinghattan Near the town of Fundinghattan our engineers faced another problem with heights, city expansions and passage-sections, here you see the solution: 1 bridge, 1 tunnel and 2 passage sections
