SwissFan91's European Screenshots
Re: SwissFan91's European Screenshots
I bet it's the ships. It's always the ships.
Re: SwissFan91's European Screenshots
I'm liking the state of the map, but how is the rolling stock? I'd also like to see how stations like East Croydon and Clapham Junction look with all the services being shown; it would make quite a scene.
Re: SwissFan91's European Screenshots
Here is the latest/last version (PGS 1.2 Pre4) of the PGS Basic Platforms that still had the half platforms in them: viewtopic.php?p=349554#p349554Pilot wrote:They could well be from this one here. Slightly older version of the set.Jibberandtwitch wrote:ahhh, it's the suburban stations set, though I wouldn't mind making use of single side platforms with that set as well! Don't seem to have them on mine :/
After that Aegir forked the set and the next release, ae_basic_platforms, removed them entirely.

Re: SwissFan91's European Screenshots
I have an older version of the BR Trains set (v0.3.2) so I don't have all the rolling stock. I am mostly making do with Electrostars in place of other units.Gwyd wrote:I'm liking the state of the map, but how is the rolling stock? Here's Clapham Junction: I can't make it quite as good eyecandy-wise as I'd like as it has way too many platforms. So I had to sacrifice realistic building for practicality on this one. I've done probably 50% of the services through CJ and it's already jamming!

Recently I have been adding some Tube lines onto the map:
Subterranean London is getting rather congested!

Re: SwissFan91's European Screenshots
From look at your London map your doing, are you using a scenario with the towns already there or from the South East UK heightmap and adding the towns in? Becuase I hate having to do the Thames accurate through london, its too annoying for me I find

Re: SwissFan91's European Screenshots
It was the South East heightmap with me adding in the towns as I go. I'm sure I'm off with a few of them. Some areas became more like a network map than a realistic map as I ran out of space (Hammersmith area).

A few more from the metropolitan area I'm working on. I feel like I have most track down now so I am looking at eyecandy and more train services.

I'm going to try and post more screenshots of this game. It's probably the biggest and most complete game I have ever made in OTTD.
Here are a few from the Great Western Main Line out of London Paddington:

I like the realistic construction of the railway as on your screenshots. Looks great and beautiful .SwissFan91 wrote:I'm going to try and post more screenshots of this game. It's probably the biggest and most complete game I have ever made in OTTD.

"On time" "On time" "On time" "On time" "On time" "On time" ... naw, it's not that realistic. Not enough delays.STD wrote:I like the realistic construction of the railway as on your screenshots. Looks great and beautiful .
Joking aside, those are great screenshots, yes

Well I've finally finished the track work!
Better screenshots to come when I've finished the town and added trains.
Re: SwissFan91's European Screenshots
Whoa, that is already shaping up to be quite some set-up!
