Re: Show us your network maps

Post by Norfolkadam »

This is the domestic air network for one of my regions that I've been working on. It has a fairly comprehensive train network and I spent a few hours adding an air network this evening and then, as a kind of treat to myself, I decided to make a map for it.

I hope you enjoy.

And another non-train map, it's not even really a map, it's the mock-up of the front of a ferry timetable. The region relies quite heavily on ferries having a huge lake in the middle and most of the major conurbations somewhere along the shoreline.

Nice looking maps, and I like the typeface you used for "Regional Railways" and "cheap cheap fares". :)

Nice looking maps. Very good.

Here is one of my own, showing the Metro and Suburban Services of the Great Sestown Metroplex on a UK style game.

the "royal pain in the backside" Microsoft Office Powerpoint... But at least it lets you move lines around in some way.

An update to the Network.

- The City of Croxley has been connected by two metropolitan lines to from Larshaw, via Croxley to Great Sestown Airport/Norwich Airport
- Norwich Airport T2 has received a new station which now allows stopping of the suburban lines from Trebrook.
- A new Suburban line has been installed from Great Sestown Central via Norwich Airport T2 to Modgrove Central
- The other line running on the same track has been rerouted to Teeningden

Another map I found on my laptop today. From on old save game. Showing the Tramways Network of the City of Kassel, with several lines. Lines connecting neighbouring cities are not yet complete.

Not a TT network, but a drawing I did the other day.

PixelSubway? The blue, green, and yellow blocks are a reference to SimCity zoning colours. Blue is Commercial, Green is Residential, and Yellow is Industrial. Stations with black outlines are hubs. (?) 'The shadowed' bits are elevated railways.
