Here's a network map from my current game, using my Hokkaido scenario. I'm pretty pleased with how well it's come out, especially considering how often it changes. It doesn't show the newly-built highspeed Shinkansen network unfortunately, due to lack of space (and it only has two lines at the moment anyway), but stations where it connects are marked with an S logo.

It is most definitely not to scale, and it's not really all that geographically accurate either. Here's the ingame map, to compare:

Love it!

The red line goes around the houses... would like to see a few screen shots!

Seems like I play OpenTTD furiously for a couple weeks then forget about it for a year..

Anyway, this is the network map for my most recent endeavor, which is using a central Japan scenario. The map dates to 1950 and excludes the Tokyo portion of my network.

Thanks :)

Map has now been updated with a few changes to line colours and station names, with the inclusion of National Rail connections and interchanges as grey circles.

Screenshot shows the area around Victoria Rail Station, which is also a busy section of the Metro network. The metro tracks around the yellow circle line and within it are mostly elevated.

I know, this thread has been dead for a while. But I made a (I think) nice network map of a part of my game map. Since there is no other relevant place I'll upload it here:

Very nice, and also the exact place for this kind of post. What program do you use to create these? Looks rather official!

Thanks! I used Inkscape to make it. It's for free and it is a vector drawing program. In the beginning quite difficult but it works nice and has a lot of possibilities.

Nice work, Sander.

This reminds me, I never got round to posting this map I made in Beno. An Irish network using the Iron Horse GRF. InterCity trains are in green, suburbans in orange, linking buses/trams in Derry, Belfast, Dublin, and Cork in purple and the narrow gauge Donegal network in red.

It's so sad to see that this topic has been dead for such a long time, as there are some AMAZING network maps on display here.
This is my rather poor attempt at depicting the extent of my transport network in my current game as is stands in 1953.

Map I've been playing with for a few years, finally mapped it out in order to try and get some control of the various routes.

Decided to make a map of the shortest S-Bahn route I had in the game for a bit of a joke, think it came out relatively okay to be fair.

The style of your map distinctly reminds me of the maps in Pokemon games. Very nice style!

The network map as of 1954 for my current game.
This is the first ever map that I've made myself, using a vector graphics program. Any improvements you can suggest would be gratefully received.

This one is from my Railway World games. I make more to give a general view of network and schematic map too. Still not have the stations. This one is from Railway World-7 as will post some photos later on my own screenshot page.
