Based on a heightmap of taiwan. I'm growing tired of this game so maybe posting screens will get me working on it. About 80% is finished though.

Yeah, awesome screenshots. I love that spiral! :D
Is it possible to see a pic of the network? And how many trains is running there?
And as Chrill said: "I truly love it! Give us more."

I can't make a screenshot of the network because the map is something like 2048x1024
I can tell how the network is organised though: There are 5 really big cities. Those are connected by fast, electric track. Those cities all have local lines going to the numerous small towns on the map. At the moment there are around 300 trains total on the network and some lines are very busy and might need a little expansion

Here are more pictures. One of the oil refinery and a small town. The other one shows outskirts from the city I showed in the first post.

That harbour is just.... And those boats at the docks makes it even better! Can you promise me one thing? Do not stop posting them, they are AWESOME! :D

Could we have a savegame then? I understand if you dont want to, but it's worth trying.. :)

And a whole load of BR515s all linked up in the first shot. That's a LOT of BR515s.

Benny, as for stopping posting screenshots, it's because real life has got in the way somewhat. I have no time to play OTTD at the minute.

My timing is very bad, thats why you don't see many trains sometimes. I'll try to screen at better moments. Here is some more. I skipped the countryside thats between these two cities cause it's a bit boring in my opinion. The area is very flat here but we'll get to the mountains soon.

the second large town:

the entrance to that town and its factory

the factory itself

this is the area where I started building so it's the worst area as I did not have developed a style for the map yet when building there.

ps. I will upload the save at some point. I dont see why I wouldnt.

Right here.

Edit, maybe they're just coaches from another set...?

No. Indeed, lots of BR515s, respectively coaches. Does the 515 has a livery override for coaches? I guess so ...

Very interesting.

Or they are just many 515 put together, although the running costs would be mental.

Great screenies, I have to agree.
Can you let me know please, how you manage to have several docks linked to the same station, or are these seperate stations?

Thanks for all the nice replies!

on that train discussion youre having: I have no idea about trains :) this is a train from the db-set and it's only one coach and local carriages.

I just thought of the fact that I cannot upload the save game cause I compiled my own version here. I'm not able to load the game in a normal ottd. (I modified the year counter to make me able to stay in 1971)

and now some screens;
Here the most beautiful city on the map according to me. Its called Pasithea and it's build halfway into the mountains.

the highspeed entrance to the city coming from the mountains:

the power plant:

overview: screens like these make me love this game

The mountain climb was the best of the three. The road under the bridge, the curve lenght, the houses around the tracks and the tunnel. All those details makes it look really idyllic and realistic, in short: Love it! Image
