This thread is where I want to 'dump' my screenshots of transport company whenever I feel like :P .

Fradean Freighter started in 1920 after borrowing some money from bank. Unlike other companies, which mostly start with cargo routes and trains, they started a hard way : passenger routes and trams, buses and airplanes. This proved to be a challenge, since most road vehicles are high in cost. I've provided some screenies  .

After 10 years, the business is okay, and the city of Tendchurch is growing. They have built a railway that links to Great Tillyway, Tillyborough, Avonhattan-on-sea, and lastly Pudingstoke. The railroad is a success, and they decided to have bus services from Pudingstoke to Pudtown and a shuttle to Pudingstoke Station.

"Let's make another airport route, shall we?" said the manager. A poll has begun and 75% wanted another airport route. They survey, survey, and survey until there's a city, which called Accby. The manager thinks it is a good place and said "Accby will be our next moneymaker". So they begin.

They build tram stations and an airport. Next, they make a tram station just outside the airport (for shuttle) and build up some trams. After the trams have their orders, they let them go and do their own business.

Until now, trams and airplane have generated money for the company. The manager is satisfied. They happily go about their daily business.

Major improvements has been made in 1930s, so I can't describe fully here. The manager has just making some improvements on the rail system, such as making more 2- lane tracks, replace engines, fixing some signals, doing some checking in orders, and of course, making new stations. Airplanes have been replaced and repaired their orders while road vehicles ... nothing much happened.

(dumped the previous game and make a new one)

Frinstone Transforts opened in 1900, just after New Year. The CEO (which is me) announced that this company will be a transport company. As a start, our supplier build some bus and hand it over to us (at a price, of course). We decided to start at our hometown, Finstone.

After the busses has running for quite some time, we had decided to include our nearby towns as our 'victim' for our next service. This time we use 6 horse carriage because it's faster than a diesel bus at that time. After some weeks, the company had a profitable day.

One day, our company decides to take a trip in our supplier's factory to look at how every bus is equipped with safety while staying low on budget. The supplier has send a picture which gave us an early look at how the factory will be.
I wonder why a part of the picture has burnt down to crisp...

At the back, it says 'See You Near Gesway'. It's near Gesway, so we took our 'horseless carriage' and arrived at destination. But unfortunately, there's no factory there. Not even a structure there. All we can see is a piece of land full of grass and the beautiful town of Gesway.

After we back to our headquarters, we call our supplier. We bashing our supplier for sending 'spam mails' to our headquarters and make us disappointed  . The supplier says the factory was there but it has closed down and demolished in 31 December 1899 due to wrong placement of the factory.

Looks like my supplier is always acting funny  . We decided to cancelled our trip.

That burning effect is really well done. And the screenshots are pretty good too!

EDIT : Thanks Pingaware :D

After some years, I decided to lay some rails. Since it is a perfect day to make a service between Slensay Bridge to Mensbourne, we start the project today. Finally, after the last rail, they woohoo and celebrate the first company railway service.

After 20 years improving our railways and adding lines, the conditions are much better, and we are making more profit than ever, until the day comes...

For a moment, here's some screenshots.

1940s was like crunch time for us. A lot has happened at that time. Massive replacing, first ship... all that stuff. It was a hard work.

The 1940s era begin with some addition of rails to our line, since the line becomes occupied and we don't know when train jams occurred. After having much trouble, the new railway is open for every train.

After that, we notice that the forest near our station, Liverstable Mines is about to close. We decided to plan for the next cargo, wood. However, when we were building rails, the sawmill is closed! Luckily we have more than enough to fund another sawmill, so we build the sawmill just near our station, Frinstone Mines and extend the station.

We also call our supplier to buy engines. We never knew more about the engine. All we know is the name of manufacturer, Alco and is suitable for light freight. Here is the result of our hard work:

The introduction of double-deckers make us impressed. All our buses are getting old, so we declared 'new era time' for buses. We had much fun selling and buying buses, until to the point our supplier complains. After buying our last bus, things seems to be much better. We still checking our railway line to repair what's not right. At that time we also initiate a 'hostile takeover' to one of our competitors.

After some years, we think this is the right time to make a ship route. We put three docks on three different cities. Then, we buy 6 ferries, half form Gesway to Chunstable and another half from Slensay Bridge to Gesway.

We celebrate after our first ship has sailed off. It was a good day.

To be continued...

For about 20 years the company keeps on improving the rail system. At the same time the company ventures new opportunities by serving more towns and industries. Now things get better...

In 1965 the company has 17 trains. Not much.
