Maybe if it was sub-arctic (in real life , Tri-State area refers to a point where three states are touching borders , and Sub-Arctic is based off of North America)

Might not be the world record, but nonetheless, what I think is 264 steam engines finally placed in their retirement home in the year 2027

A few shots from a cool multiplayer coop game, with a japanese theme and shared infra (one company own most of infra and has no vehicles, then each company is specialised in their branch : rail, bus, ferry, freight, etc...)

The two first shot are showing the main urban area served on the map (but the urban area is so large the 2 shots only show a part of it.

The last shot is showing a coastal city with some relatively heavy infrastructure for trains and ships.

It s hosted by "tin", using JGR's patchpack and plenty of newgrf.

Poor people, their buses drive on the left, but have the doors on the right side
Otherwise nice screenshots, I'm always amazed how much local trains, trams and buses you got in a such large city, something real-ish (apart from in OTTD no one goes anywhere by car)

Inspired by the Burmese road switching ordeal. ;) I'm going to take the time to sneak in two more from the same game; of my favorite station's evolution....Mihara Station (三原駅)!

Mihara Station (三原駅) has had various additions in the 21st century, starting with the re-alignment of the inbound local purple line (紫知多線) to make way for the tunnels for the blue line (水色北線). Maniwako Station (真庭子駅) was later built for standard gauge, affectionately named with "ko" for child, for it is newer and far smaller than the nearby (far more central) Maniwa Station (真庭駅). The latest changes involve the construction of four shinkansen platforms; two for terminating MAX and Kodama so they don't clog up the Shinkansen platforms Izu-Ichinoseki Station (泉一関駅) further down the line (see Roma's post) - plus two through platforms either side of the mainline for Hikari services to the main station and the odd 'Iwaki Mini-shinkansen' through service. Nozomi services take the through lines; passing at 241km/h make for a fantastic sight. There's also a few other things around that have changed, but anyway...

Not sure what grfs you guys are using, but it seems looks you have several unknown grfs in the list.

(for those who are playing on the tin01 server.)
Something goes here, hell if I know.

indeed, all are not on bananas, some hunting in http://bundles.openttdcoop.org/ might be necessary ( i supose it concern WAS planes version from 1st of february )

Also a visit to simuscape is in order to get the infra "green" and "street" collection

and a visit to michael blunck to get the latest newstation and marico : http://www.ttdpatch.de/download.html

Hope it helps ;)

well this is until , before posting, i ve made a last check.... I m just now realizing that Tin has included in this game a modified newgrf wich can t be distributed. Sorry for the false joy everyone, we were really looking forward to open the server to just anyone willing to join us...i guess it will be for the next game ;)

JGRpatchpack 0.11.0...wich seems to be already a barrier good enough against troll players

Sorry....Not every regular player is playing with Patches.I think most of it prefer a STABLE VERSIOn...so JGRS Patchpack is out of race!
As many other patchpacks and patches too....

Ask me anyway, if the patches are all so great, why they do not find their way into a Stable :?:

There are infinite reasons why a patch doesn't make its way into stable. The most likely reason is because the patches authors have decided not to submit it. Many patches go though years of development and refinement. If its imperfect, if it's possible to cause a glitch, or break save game compatibility, or does something that the devs don't approve of, then it's likely to not ever be submitted for inspection. The code itself may be too complicated or not to the coding standards that the devs expect, but suits the patch's authors just fine.

Sometimes it's just politics and personal issues. Cirdan and HackALittleBit have put in a lot of work to create some of the most popular patches. As them why devs choose to not even acknowledge their work. :)

Swedish T43s and Dutch NS 2200s in storage at the Shornley Market Woods Storage Complex. (No fancy aesthetic things as the tracks laid to actually get stuff in their is usually quite complicated and random, and I don't want something else to build around/drain my very short money.)

Image

Once funds allow, these vehicles will be replaced by German V100s, which will eventually replace remaining NS 2200s (Iron ore from Grindborough Mines to Tendinghall Transfer), T43s (Cereal Grains from Grennley East to Grennley, and coal ore from Tadwood Mines to Tendinghall East), and C600s (Crude oil from Prontford Woods to Brindtown Woods).

Hi! Just wanted to share a few pictures of my gameplay. I use symmetrical cargodist and play passenger games, often trying to grow 2-3 cities on the map to unnecessary sizes and transport insane amounts of passengers. These are some tactics I've developed to help grow cities while laying a solid core for the center of the city's transport network, where most of the passengers will route through.

What's up with "columbus annex" and "exchange"? Those two are fully separated from the others? Or they aren't passenger stations?
