Is there any reason the lights of the offices are on, but the lights in the houses are off?
Like I said, it's not finished yet :P Drawing over all those tiny windows and streetlights gets tiring after a while; I'll probably do more work on it at some point. Glad you (and Ameecher) liked it, though :)

Here's one I threw together in The Gimp. Didn't follow any tutorials (I'm not exactly new to image editing), so the style will be a little different. Note, for example, that station and town names, and tool bars, are normal colour, as if the game did the night mode itself.

This is from peter1138's fuzzle.org nightly server, and shows a couple of peter1138's trains at a station in the busy town of Munwell.

Thanks (:

It took 20 minutes. I've been asked why I didn't do the windows in the buildings. Answer is, that would have taken significantly longer.

If anybody has questions on how I did it, I'd be glad to answer them. It did involve significant copy and paste, mostly in the dark layer's mask. Since all streetlights are the same (and already have yellow bulbs), and theatres are also the same, it didn't take as long as it could.

Notice I missed a theatre near the station. That was an accident, but my excuse is that it's closed.

I felt inspired to have a go after seeing DanMacK's one wich is really cool. I made it in the snow to keep with the season, and made a small route cutting and tunneling threw the landscape down into the small town.

Dusk in Malmbyn. The last ferry from Stynnlov arrives and the passengers connect onto the 19:28 Malmbyn Docks - Skotholm service. In the town the shops are about to shut and the MalmLiyn bus makes it's way towards the harbour bridge and back into the town centre. At Malmbyn Stad station the 20:01 Malmbyn Stad - Skotholm service waits in the platform.
