Welcome to Vechterode Airport, where Aircrafts, Maglevs, ICEs and TGVs meetImage
Did you forget to attach your screenshot?
For some reason it didn't seem to load.

Maybe that's because I'm posting from mobile. I'll fix it

Thanks :)
Actually I'm not 100% happy with it. There are many things not ready yet. And I have a problem with Maglev Bridges...

Looks a bit blurry due to jpg, too. If that's deliberate it's OK, but if you want to look it as ingame you need to repost it, again, as png ;)

e: might as well add one of mine.

Maybe it'll get me to finish the save and/or the airport GRF ...

Not a very big airport, but i approve, i even highly approve ;) I'd better look at the Orly airport (France) for my next Int'l airport.

Heh. I'm having visions of shipping containers full of tourists.

Hey, passengers can be intermodal too :P

Welcome to the competition! Would you be able to retake your screenshot in PNG? JPG is not suited to this purpose and results in a blurry mess, which ruins an otherwise good screenshot

Not entered this in a while, here's my entry for the new theme :)

Vöhringen's Hauptbahnhof is the main station of the region. It's station of 16 platforms sees 214 trains calling, with a separate high level and ICE station being somewhat quieter than the mainline platforms. Here, passengers can link to the city centre via a Tram or the Bus, which, in peak times, stop every 2 minutes. Today, is a Sunday though, meaning the station is somewhat quiet compared to it's usual hectic weekday schedule.

What's that elevated rail line over the tram one ? A S-Bahn ?

Do you mean the two brick viaducts that lead into the 3-platforms of the high level, or the the two white concrete viaducts that lead to the two separate platforms at the mainline station?

The two brick viaducts are used by regional trains and the odd Express, whilst the 2 white concrete viaducts belong to the S-Bahn.

I sometimes use these objects, and i really regret we can't have real taxiways, runways etc like in the NewObjects set.

Eh, people have been working on new airports for the last 10-15 years - I'll believe it when it happens!
